Went with my buddy Ed to pick up his dream car 760 miles away in western Colorado and drive it back. I was in his Hyundai Sonata Hybrid, he drove the Stealth. Of course I recorded the whole thing and I’ll make a video of it soon.

Almost went to the hospital due to weed, enjoyed a hybrid Hyundai more than I thought I would, outran a 90s GT car in said hybrid Hyundai because #drivermod , and drove along the endless flat bullshit in west Kansas.

The only hangup - A/C, mountain pass shenanigains, and thin air led to the Stealth getting a little warm

New radiator cap and it’s good to go

He hates red cars. This thing is in pretty great shape, true survivor. Been garaged most of its life which is good because this paint likes to fade super bad. Drives fantastically, I have much “want” for a first-gen 3000GT VR4 now.

Yep. Same twin-turbo AWD as a VR4 just with different bodywork. The Dodges are, I believe, a bit more rare.

Gummies. Asked the dude at the dispensary how many is safe for a newbie. He said two, which is 20mg. I took him at his word. Popped a couple (as a passenger, of course) and we took off through the mountains and I was giggly and having a great time until it suddenly triggered MASSIVE altitude sickness. I checked out completely off and on for about four hours of hyperventilating , going in and out of consciousness , throwing up, and spastic episodes.

3/10 would not recommend.

Yeah that paint looks great. And survivors are the way to go with old cars - helps avoid janky mods that you end up having to undo.

Yup. It drives fantastic. Clutch is a bit truck-y with a super long throw and it’s kind of heavy. Brakes are super overboosted. Steering is nice and light but still communicative. Pedalbox is great - super easy to heel-toe. Shifter is rubbery and highly mediocre. Power delivery is super deceptive; the turbos spool almost instantly with very little perceptible lag, just a disappointing-feeling shove until you look at the rapidly-approaching-illegal speedometer. Road noise is excessive but I think that’s the chinese knockoff tires more than anything. Rides great, no rattles, squeaks, or creaks. Shockingly cramped interior compared to the exterior.

Last time I was at a dispensary I skipped the gummies (60mg for the entire pack of 6) and went right for a stack of the 250mg cookies. They did not disappoint. Great for breakfast.

When I first read two gummies I was like holy shit, because in MI most gummies are 100mg. I got one once along with a cookie, guy told me he only eats half. I ate the cookie which was 70mg and felt basically nothing so a few days later I said fuck it it's only 30mg more and ate the entire gummy. I basically just slept the whole day. A few periods of crawling around on my floor to go to the bathroom and eat/drink.

Congrats!! My dream car is also the Hyundai Sonata, but I prefer the Turbo that has 4 tailpipes.
